Wimp 2 Warrior is the ultimate human experiment – where regular everyday men and women (think corporate workers, labourers, engineers) embark on six months of gruelling mixed martial arts (MMA) training. Their journey begins with the tryouts and culminates at the Finale event where each person is matched against one other in a night of inspiring displays of heart and determination.

Res Publica helped to promote Season 3 of Wimp 2 Warrior, as well as profile individual contestant’s transformation journeys and the Finale event. This was achieved through an extensive media relations program targeting news, lifestyle, health and fitness journalists – some of whom took part in the tryout themselves to get an understanding of the mental and physical challenges that the competitors would face.

More than 1,200 people attended the sell-out Wimp 2 Warrior Finale event which was held at Sydney’s Luna Park Big Top. Coverage highlights over the duration of the program included articles in the Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, Courier Mail and Herald Sun.
