Securing great coverage for the UFC

 

We achieved some great results for the Ultimate Fighting Championship before, during and after UFC 110, its sell-out inaugural event in Sydney on 21st February 2010.

Res Publica developed and implemented a comprehensive communication program intended to familiarise media with the sport, engage and inform key opinion leaders and raise general public awareness. The resulting media coverage was extensive, the overwhelming majority of it positive, and any issues were managed to the satisfaction of the client.
 
Overall, Res Publica’s efforts secured over 220 pieces of positive coverage on radio, TV, print and online media. Most notably, with PR the only communication channel utilised, all 16,500 seats for UFC 110 at Acer Arena sold out within hours of going on public sale in December, the second fastest-selling event in UFC history.
